When Krishna is inside you, how can you ever be a sinner?

For a Krishna devotee, life is blissful!

No wonder, Lord Krishna attracts one and all

Festivals like Gokulashtami are also meant to overcome idleness, bring in cheerfulness and promote social interaction

The purpose of Incarnation of Sri Krishna is to give to the world – His Name, His attractive Form and His various leelas

Born in a 'Karagraha' (prison), Sri Krishna entered the 'Garbagraha' (the sanctum) just for the sake of 'Anugraha' (gracing us)

Janmashtami Message from Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

The Nama is verily the propeller of the ship. The captain of this ship is none other than Sri Krishna Himself!

Sri Krishna says; I protect those who have surrendered unto me and look up to me for their protection

For all questions he had only one reply, "One should perform Krishna Namakirtan"

When you chant do not bother whether your mind wavers or not. Nama will take care of that…..proceed doubtlessly with faith in the words of the Guru

Swamiji, You talk only of Bhakti towards Krishna. Why?

Sri Narayana Tirtha’s Krishna Leela Tarangini – Namasiddhanta Gitam

Nama Article 18th August 2011

Sri Narayana Tirtha’s Krishna Leela Tarangini – Namasiddhanta Gitam

The Gitam 'Ramakrishna Govindeti' is perhaps one of the most enchanting and sumptuous descriptions of the greatness of Chanting the Divine names making it the Namasiddhanta Gitam. The enunciation could not have been clearer or more emphatic. Says Sri Narayana Tirtha : The three holy names — Rama (Ganga) , Krishna (Yamuna), Govinda (Saraswathi) — constitute a Prayag, a most holy and venerated confluence.

A dip in this Prayag, in the form of a reverential utterance of these three sacred names, has no reference to direction, location and time – the chanting of these three names can be done at any place, any time and facing any direction and is with in easy reach of all. He reiterates Namasiddhantha and says that the practice of Chanting the Divine Names ensures beatitude – liberation through jnana, sumptuously aided by the ocean of the Satguru’s compassion.

It brings the Supreme experience with in easy reach of the devotee. Even the Paramahamsas, yogins (the liberated souls) derive bliss from a bath in the confluence of these three hallowed names. It fulfills all worldly and heavenly aspirations!

It is the essence of all Vedas and scriptures and grants lasting peace by giving deliverance from all sufferings. Chanting of Divine names is not dependent on  baths, sandhyas, japas, ceremonies like tarpana, homa (by the medium of agni : fire) — and is the safest path where one cannot commit any mistake. The Namasankirtana-Prayag produces the complete Brahmanandam which is constant and beyond rise or fall.

One can immerse in this Divine Prayag by remembering the Divine Name in the heart, with the tongue uttering these holy names and the whole body engaged by happily dancing to the tune of Divine Names.

The Prayag of Namasankirtanam will by itself grant Devotion, detachment and Jnana (supreme knowledge) and will yield the fruit of true self-realization without getting tied up with sacrificial rites, yoga or renunciation.

The Prayag of these three names helps one to realise the Supreme by easily crossing the treacherous samsara (worldly life). Says, Sadhu Narayana Tirtha, that Chanting the Divine names, dispels the darkness of all types of sins and brings the light of Joy.

Sri Bhagavan Nama Bodendra Swamigal was a contemporary of Sri Shridhara Ayyaval. Sri Bodendra Swamigal had deep reverence for Sri Shridhara Ayyaval. They used to meet often and enjoy the bliss of talking about the glory of the Lord. Though Sri Shridhara Ayyaval saw no difference in the prowess of Lord Shiva's name and Lord Vishnu's name he loved chanting the names of Lord Shiva. Similarly, Sri Bodendra loved the name of Rama more than anything. When Sri Bodendra Swamigal read the work of Sri Shridhara Ayyaval named 'Aakya Shashti', which primarily talked only about the greatness of Lord Shiva's names in sixty verses, he said, "You could have named this work as 'Shivaakyashashti' instead of 'Aakya Shashti'! Though all the names of the Lord are equally sweet and powerful, you have chosen to sing the greatness of only one of them! Why is it so? Don't you like singing the divine Name of Lord Rama?" The moment Sri Shridhara Ayyaval heard this from the great saint, he replied in a beautiful verse emphasizing the greatness of the Divine Name of Lord Rama. "While Lord Shiva, the glory of whose name I have sung in these sixty verses, himself does not cease to chant the Divine Name Rama even for a moment out of such taste and love for that name, how can I dare to describe the beauty and glory of the Divine Name of Rama?"

Sri Bodendra Swamigal shed tears of joy hearing this verse.

Only if I deem you to be a sinner can I offer any expiation rites for it!

Solution is here and wisdom is this

Ganapathy and Rama Nama

In fact, Lord Siva Himself chants the 'Rama' mantra all the time. Hence you are absolutely right in chanting the Rama mantra.

It is the Name that Lord Siva and His Consort Părvati chant! That removes sorrow and bestows peace!

Greatness of Chanting the Divine Name of Lord Shiva

Atonce Lord Shiva said "it is enough if one chants the name "Rama."
