One can fall in any of the three categories:
1.      One can Chant the Divine names with full control of the senses
2.      One need not care about the control of senses and keep Chanting the Divine names
3.      One can leave the responsibility of controlling the senses to Lord Ranganatha and keep Chanting the Divine names
As long as we keep Chanting the Divine Names there will be no wants.

Lord here assures that one who is an ordinary bhaktha and even one who does Bhakthi with out total faith will also not be destroyed.

'Deivam' (god) appears only to one who is a 'dharmătma' (the Righteous), has 'druda viswăsa' (unstinting faith) and is 'satyasanta' (Truthful) and not to one who does not possess these qualities.

But it is also proclaimed that if we Chant the Divine name we can attain the Lord. We see that many who Chant the Name of the Lord do not possess even the basic qualities like humanity. Then how will they attain the Lord.

Both the above statements looks contradictory.

We would be clear if we understand what Lord Krishna says in Gita.

क्षिप्रं भवति धर्मात्मा शश्वच्छान्तिं निगच्छति |

कौन्तेय प्रतिजानीहि न मे भक्तः प्रणश्यति ||

(Srimad Bhagavadgita 9:31)

But, if you do Nãmasankirtan, it not only becomes atonement for all the sins committed but is also ‘shipram bhavati dharmãtma’ == It also completely erases the feeling (‘buddhi’) to commit a sin again. Very soon it makes you a Dharmãtma (righteous person). That is the ‘prabhãva’ (glory) of Nãmakirtan. Do it (Nãmakirtan) rightly or wrongly, it does bestow its ‘phala’ (fruit), certainly. When Vãlmiki was a hunter he did not even know to utter Rama and did japa of it as ‘mara’, ‘mara’! Yet, he became such a great Maharshi and composed the ‘Ãdi kãvya’ (Ramayana).

Lord assures that His devotee is never destroyed. Here the word devotee does not refer to Prahlada, Dhruva, Ambarisha etc as no one can have any doubt that these great Bhaktas would never be destroyed. Lord here assures that one who is an ordinary bhaktha and even one who does Bhakthi with out total faith will also not be destroyed. Hence all who Chant the Divine Name would attain the Lord with out any doubt. The Divine Name of the Lord ('Bhagavan Nãma') has the power to redeem one and all. Was not Ajamila, the worst sinner, redeemed for the mere uttering of the Divine Name?

Bodendra swami, in His 'Bhagavan Nama rasodayam' says angrily, 'do you think it the Name of some Tom, Dick and Harry? It is verily the Name of the Lord of the Universe ('Jagadeeshwara's Name)!

Essence of Gita – मामेकं शरणं व्रज – The easiest way to surrender is to chant the Mahamantra. Continuously chant the Mahamantra and eventually, you will attain the state of surrender.

Does not the Lord surely arrange for securing what they lack and protecting what they have even in the case of other devotees?

But, while speaking on Bhakti mãrga, Bhagavãn tells Arjuna, 'na chirãt' – it will not take long. You can attain to Me now, in this very janma.

One who utters My Name becomes holy very soon

Even if you perform the smallest dharma I will protect you from the worst fear

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

All acts performed are only so much useless labor if it fails to generate love towards the Lord.

Srimad Bhagavatam: (1:2:8)

धर्मः स्वनुष्ठितः पुंसां विष्वक्सेन-कथासु यः

नोत्पादयेद् यदि रतिं श्रम एव हि केवलम्

All acts performed are only so much useless labor if it fails to generate love towards the Lord.

Man feels that only the most difficult is the highest, the most difficult way is the best way. This is a very wrong notion

That love, can sprout only by his grace. His grace descends when we chant the Mahamantra.

Those who are ready to accept this simple Mahamantra, we shall give this Mahamantra to those with love.

Namakirtan is definitely the easiest way. But our illusion (maya) would not allow us to do even that. Hence we should not get caught in the illusion. One should always catch hold of the Divine Name with out indulging in any pomp and show.

Bhagawan Nama Bodendra Saraswati Swamigal puts forth his findings in the following words, "Since it is so easy and simple, none takes to it!

Would it not amount to grave injustice if one shows a difficult path to the world?

There are many ways. But the simplest and the easiest way is by chanting the "Hare Rama.." Mahamantra.

After ensuring all these if our mind is not pure there is no use of any of the above. For keeping our mind clean, Chanting the Names of Krishna is the only way.

They are for those who don't believe in simple prayers.

Smallest dharma is verily Chanting the Divine Name (Namakirtan) and ignorance ['ajnaana'] the worst fear

The genuine seeker alone will be able to spot it

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

One who questions, "Why should I do bhakti?” even after this, is simply not a rasika (enjoyer)!

Bhakti is deeply enjoyable; it is full of rasa. When it is so, some people perform puja without a deity. Will such people attain the desired phala (result)? Certainly, the expected phala will be attained. But bhakti is filled with anubhava (spiritual experience). Therefore, there is great joy (ananda) in performing puja to archavataras (deities), taking them in procession, performing Thirukalyanam (marriage) for them. This can be explained through the following example.

Man requires a certain amount of calories of food every day. We can also tell the exact quantity of different vitamins required by the body on a daily basis. But a person cannot consume just the requisite amount of vitamins everyday instead of the food. If a person does that, he may remain healthy but he will be hungry. Moreover, the vitamins do not please the palate. But food makes one healthy as well as appeases one’s hunger. It is also tasty. Similarly, one cannot worship some yantra or stone. There has to be a beautiful Form for worship. Then not only does bhakti serve its purpose, but only then can it be enjoyed!

Moksha is the endpoint of bhakti. But bhakti is so beautiful and joyful that it attracts even a jnãni who has attained Liberation!

This can be illustrated through an example. When a child suffers from diarrhea the mother gives sugar mixed with ghee. Even after the child returns to normal health, it bluffs that it is still suffering from diarrhea simply to eat the tasty concoction of sugar mixed with ghee. Likewise, even if the goal of bhakti is moksha (Liberation) the joy of performing bhakti attracts one even after the attainment of the goal.

Bhakti is so deeply enjoyable! Uttering HARI NAMA even once earns moksha. Surrender leads one to Vaikunta. One who questions, "Why should I do bhakti?” even after this, is simply not a rasika (enjoyer)!

This Lila of the Lord was performed not for the sake of the Azhwar but for our sake: for stressing a point to us. What is the message of the Lord to us, in this?—’if you are deeply devoted to ME and happen to stray away, I will bring you back. I will never give up on you! ‘Shipram bhavati dharmatma!’. I will make you virtuous [‘dharmatma’].’

In Kali, Bhakti means singing the Divine Name of the Lord [‘Bhagavan Nama kirtan’], listening to Bhagavat stories (‘katha sravanam’), having darshan of the Lord in Temples.

Please check these: Excerpts from a discourse by our Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

To keep the temple as the real temple, Nama Kirtan has to be done there too

Would one wonder if he is uttering the Name of the Lord in the Temple or the Name of a Conscious God?

Krishna does not complain, but decides, "Well! I will sit on your tongue in the form of Nama (Name)

Going to temples, performing puja etc. cleanse our mind and a pure mind is essential if one is to attain jnana.

In this Yuga, three activities are alone enough to attain the Lord –worship in temples, Satsang, and Nama Kirtan. Satsang here, means the reading of Srimad Bhagavatam, listening to the stories and qualities of the Lord, the lives of great Mahans etc.

The mother holds the child by the hand and leads and protects the child from falling in any pit that may be found on the way. Likewise, God takes hold of his devotee and removes all the hurdles in his/her way.

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
