Develop that love for Remembrance of God which the fish has for water

Nama Article 6th January 2013

Sant Kabir

Remember God in the same way as a lover remembers his lady love, who is never out of his mind even for a moment during the twenty four hours of a day.

Fix your mind on God even as a cow has its thoughts fixed on the calf even while grazing in the forest and does not forget it even for a moment.

Think of God in the same way as a pauper thinks of the few farthings he has scraped together, which he counts every now and then and forgets not even for a moment.

Merger your thoughts in the remembrance of God just as the deer is absorbed in hearing the music of the lute, so much so that it never withdraws its mind from it and dies with it.

Develop attachment for remembrance similar to that which the moth has for the flame (the moth which burns itself to death but does not shrink from hugging the fire.

Concentrate your thoughts on God just as the insect is absorbed in the thoughts of the bee, so much so that it loses its identity and is transformed into the bee through intensive meditation.

Develop that love for remembrance which the fish has for water (the fish which cannot be bear a moment’s separation from water and dies without it).

You should attain such a stage that it is impossible for you to live without Him.

It is possible for everyone to see God.

If you want God alone, why do you accept the existence of anything else ?

Meditate God as a fish with out water leaves its life

It is not the count or time that matters. It is the intensity that matters.

So why not take to that alone and do it in an intense manner with complete faith, instead of confusing yourself with a multitude of practices?

Will the Lord appear to you at your sudden call? No. You must yearn for Him in your heart! It's enough If only you chant His name; At once your fetters will fall.

What We Think We Become

So, if one wants God, one’s whole heart must be given to Him. The one sole objective of the devotee is to pray to Him, to take His Name and to dedicate his whole life to His service.

So also when an ignorant, bound and sorrow-stricken soul comes in contact with an illumined, liberated and all-blissful person, the former by such contact is fired with a zeal to become also like the latter.

The Name of God is like milk and other worldly affairs are like water

Nama Article 22nd November 2011

Sant Kabir

The Name of God is like milk and other worldly affairs are like water. There is a rare sage (Paramahamsa) who being like a swan knows the reality.

It means that discriminative people are rare who can distinguish God and the world.

The Sathguru has given me the diamond of the Name of God. I have nothing to pay for that diamond to my Guru.

Nama Article 11th November 2011

Sant Kabir

The Sathguru has given me the diamond of the Name of God. I have nothing to pay for that diamond to my Guru.

I have a keen desire to satisfy my Guru by paying something, but sad to say that I don’t possess such valuable thing.

The rarest of the rare is getting a Uttama Guru. When you have a Guru, you can peacefully rest.

How do we know that the Guru is pleased with us?

No one else pleases me the most than the ones who Chant Mahamantra!

When a disciple leads his life with the clear understanding that it is the Guru who is running his life – adverse or otherwise, completely emptying the mind of personal likes and dislikes, seeing everything as Guru's leela, attains realization

Guru's Word is the root of Mantra

God is for all. Each and everyone have the right to attain God. Bhagavan Nama japa is the universal way

'Gurohu anugrahenaiva puman puranah prasantaiye'

We would feel that there is none as rich as we are because we have got such a Guru Ratnam

Bhakti is all about showing gratitude.

It is the Guru who shows that way, and the gratitude shown to such a Guru is Guru Bhakti

How to show our gratitude to our Guru?

The only act a true devotee can do is to chant Nama to express the gratitude to the Guru for the grace showered on the devotee.

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Only God and uttering His Name is the true source of happiness. With out God all others are the accumulation of sorrows

Nama Article 2nd November 2011

Sant kabir says, “Only God and uttering His Name is the true source of happiness. With out God all others are the accumulation of sorrows.”

As long as you search for peace outside yourself, you will not attain it. To find the peace within you, please chant the Mahamantra always, thinking of Lord Krishna and surrendering to Him.

The secret that will help you realize happiness

Everyone desires peace. But it does not come by easily. Neither the rich nor the poor enjoys peace

The true purpose of our existence is to realize God in ourselves. No other purpose is equal to or more significant than this.

To think 'What is the purpose of my Creation' is the very purpose of Lord's Creation

The true purpose of existence can be understood only if one attains a Guru

To forget this mixed results of joy and sorrows, we should be totally immersed in Bhagavan Krishna's eternal bliss.

Uttering the Name of the God is real essense

Nama Article 1st October 2011

Sant Kabir

Sant kabir says, “Uttering the Name of the God is real essense and all others are sources of troubles. I have analyzed from beginning to end thouroughly and see that except the uttering of  God’s Name all other things are means of destruction.”

Worship Narayana with Nãmasankirtan! One cannot counter this if none other than Veda Vyasa has declared it.

For all questions he had only one reply, "One should perform Krishna Namakirtan"

Namakirtanam is the only resort. I think again and again about this with in Myself

When its recitation commences with the Divine Name Hari and concludes with the same, it is a clear and significant indication that the essence of all Vedas is about chanting the Divine Name of Hari.

The easiest way to surrender is to chant the Mahamantra. Continuously chant the Mahamantra and eventually, you will attain the state of surrender.

Rama Nama is the very essence (‘saram’) of all Epics, Shastras and the Vedas

It is for this purpose that he blessed us with Srimad Bhagavatham like a Nama Siddathantam

Chanting the Name includes everything. This is the highest Dharma. Drop everything and take refuge in the Name.

Sri Narayana Tirtha’s Krishna Leela Tarangini – Namasiddhanta Gitam

If you discriminate in this way, you will understand that the continual remembrance of Hari is the supreme goal to be attained

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

The fire of passion is burning in the world and this mind feels strong heat due to that. O man, you have a pitcher with you full of water of Lord Hari’s pure Name. Put off this fire with that water.

Only the Divine Name Rama is the real nectar and the substance of the universe.

Sant Kabir

O’ man, immerse yourself into bliss of Chanting the Divine Name Rama. There is no use of showy and fraudulent devotion. Meditate God in such a way as a deer hears the musical sound and inspite of being pierced with an arrow it remains in the love of that music. Meditate God as a fish with out water leaves its life.

The worm that the wasp holds in a shell becomes another wasp in due course of time, as it constantly thinks of the wasp. When the mind thinks of the Lord with deep concentration it will, in course of time, become one with the Lord.

Only the Divine Name Rama is the real nectar and the substance of the universe. Remembering the Divine Name again and again devotees cross the ocean of the world. Kabir says, “I am devotee to the devotees of God. Now I shall not give up and will remain in God’s feet."

Anyone of the above can hit you any moment Yearn for freedom from this shackle of life just as you would yearn for safety/freedom while caught in a hijacked aircraft

Glory unto thee….Oh! Mind! I salute thy unmatched courage!

It is not the count or time that matters. It is the intensity that matters.

So why not take to that alone and do it in an intense manner with complete faith, instead of confusing yourself with a multitude of practices?
